Spangler Environmental, Inc. is committed to your success. The health, safety, and well-being of you and your families is a top priority. Our employees, subconsultants and contractors are the drivers of success. Without the availability of their abilities and skills, we cannot function optimally and cannot serve you successfully. We have been consulting with and obtaining information from the Wake County Health Department, the federal Centers for Disease Control, and medical professionals. We have spent significant time over the last several days receiving guidance for best practices in our workplace and in our mission field.

Based on available information related to the infection pathways for the coronavirus, our physical workplace arrangement, and our relatively isolated field work, our business is generally considered low-risk (as compared to other businesses such as movie theatres, gyms, and the restaurant industry, for example). Our office is professionally cleaned weekly, and all surfaces are deep cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis. While it is a fact that personal interaction of any kind carries some risk, we will plan to continue our work for our clients with “business as usual” into the foreseeable future.

We will be communicating directly with our clients on their preferences for interactions ahead of those situations and in the event of a slow-down in our ability to execute scopes of work if partner engineering, subconsultant, planning or regulatory offices begin to close. We are optimistic that the COVID-19 threat can be managed through common sense, good proactive precautionary cleaning and personal hygiene, and avoiding unnecessary personal contact. In the interest of controlling the spread of COVID-19, we ask that you contact me directly (919-875-4288 ext. 104) should you become aware of potential or known exposure.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to you and appreciate the trust you have placed in us. We are all in this together.

Sincerely,

Jim Spangler, President
