Amanda Bloom joined Spangler Environmental in 2021 as a Senior Environmental Scientist. As a member of the Risk Management Services group, Amanda’s primary responsibilities include Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, field sampling, and other projects. With over 11 years of experience as an environmental consultant, Amanda has experience in Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, industrial hygiene assessment, and natural resource studies. Amanda enjoys the environmental aspects of her job and appreciates the opportunity to analyze and solve client problems.

Amanda holds certifications as a 40-hour hazardous waste operator (HAZWOPER), a 40-hour hazardous waste operator supervisor (HAZWOPER supervisor), and as an Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Asbestos Inspector. Amanda has completed training in Screening for Vapor Encroachment onto Property Involved in Real Estate Transactions- ASTM E 2600-10 and is currently pursuing asbestos licenses in North and South Carolina. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Catawba College. She loves outdoor adventures with her family, science-fiction, and carnivorous plants.
